Why KI Muzzles?

In the search for solutions to integrate livestock farming into fruit production, we realized that there was no solution that would allow it in an adequate way, and that is where the KI muzzle line was born.

Respond to a need

Our foundational product provides an answer to producers in need:

  • Increase and diversify revenues
  • Lowering costs
  • Reduce the environmental impact of your production

Benefiting producers

KI muzzles allow producers:

  • Substitute herbicides and chemical fertilizers for inter-crop grazing.
  • Generate additional income by integrating livestock on agricultural land.
  • Diversify revenues and items

With KI it is possible to substitute the use of herbicides such as GLYPHOSATE for the action of these animals, as well as the use of mineral fertilizers, since their droppings serve to fertilize crops.

Benefit sheep

KI muzzles are used for both sheep and goats, which are used to allow the animals to graze on the different fruit crops without causing damage to them.

In this way the sheep benefit from the trees, taking advantage of the shade in summer and shelter in winter, in addition to having fresh and abundant pasture all year round.

Prevent damage

Thanks to KI, grazing can be carried out throughout the fruit trees’ productive cycle without damaging them.

Without the muzzles, the animals would not be able to remain on the property once the plants begin to sprout because they eat the shoots and leaves (browsing).

How do KI muzzles work?

They are designed and developed with animal welfare in mind. The muzzle and its harness prevent the animal from eating the sprouts and fruits of the crops while its head is raised. And that when he lowers his head, he can graze normally. This makes it also an excellent solution for organic crops.

The sheep benefit from the protection provided by the fruit trees, with shade in the summer and shelter in the winter.
